Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) - $100
This is an experience where you can have fun and swim underwater under my supervision. It’s a great option if you’re not completely sure you’re ready to start your open water course, you can use this to gauge your interest.
This dive can count towards your your Open Water dive 1.
PADI Open Water Diver - Referral $640, Full Certification $850
So you want to learn to SCUBA dive! This course teaches you the fundamentals of scuba diving and will get you scuba certified. If you want to be able to spend your next vacation underwater then this will get you there. Taking this course with Orange Octopus Scuba will have you spending less out-of-pocket because we include PADI E-Learning, and you will never need to purchase gear for a class.
I teach the pool diving part training in Eldersburg, MD, but if you have a pool I will come to your location and even teach the knowledge portion at your home if you prefer that to PADI E-Learning.
Nitrox Course - $225
Diving with nitrox gives us longer no decompression limits or can add a level of conservatism . This course teaches you what you need to know and certifies you to use up to 40% nitrox. This price is for the dry course but can easily be combined with the open water, or any other wet course or trip at no additional cost. It is the #1 specialty I would recommend as most people on the boat will have it and it gives you the best diving experience.
Advanced Open Water - $450
The PADI advanced open water course builds upon the skills you learned in your PADI open water course. This course will extend your range to 30m/100 feet of depth, work on your buoyancy and navigation and will give you a glimpse at several specialties by completing the first dive in specialty. It’s also something that can very easily be done while on a dive trip. If I have an upcoming trip this can be added at a discount rate.
